Caio Rosa, born in 1992, in the west zone of Rio, is a photographer and researcher, lives and works in São Paulo. He studied History at Puc-Rio, his studies address methodologies and strategies for accessing the divine and intangible worlds through his cultural experience through photography, music, video and installation.
Through photography, it seeks to reflect and oppose the violent processes of practice throughout history, proposing new forms of representation of the body and black culture, using, through the process of revealing and enlarging negatives, experiments and the introduction of drawings, writings and affective maps .
He is the creator and host of the Rio Doce program on NTS Rádio (London) where he explores traditional and contemporary Afro-diasporic music and its branches around the world.
