Renata Egreja received a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts in 2010 from the Ecole des Beaux Arts de Paris, where she also completed her master’s degree. Egreja, works with different media such as installation, videos, sculptures and drawings. But painting is the main focus of her work. The artist paints through experiments with constructive processes. Renata Egreja won some prizes such as the Itamaraty Prize for Contemporary Art and FAAP and Itamaraty Sanskriti Foundation. She also participated in the exhibitions The First Ten Years and Correspondence at the Tomie Othake Institute, new MAC Sorocaba acquisitions, Ellas at FAAP and others. She has held individual exhibitions in several galleries and Museums such as Zipper Gallery in São Paulo and Museum of Art of Curitiba, MAG Goiânia etc… Her work is part of collections such as Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado, MAC Sorocaba and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Itamaraty.
